Founded in 1985 by our Swiss Managing Director, Lacomp plc has
developed into a well-respected company specialising in the fields
of individual client portfolio and fund management.
Being totally independent, we are free from any bias or undue
influence and can, therefore, direct our loyalty and efforts to
the welfare of our clients.
Based outside London with several branch offices in the UK, our
international background and outlook provide an extra dimension
not commonly available from UK financial advisors.
We rarely advertise our services, and we do not subscribe to aggressive
marketing techniques. Most new clients are introduced by referral
from established clients, other financial intermediaries, accountancy
practices and legal firms.
However, a company’s major asset is its work force. Our Swiss Managing Director, Peter Buxtorf, educated in Switzerland (Commercial Business Studies, and IMC) and with a background in private banking and fund management, is ably assisted by his co-directors Steve Willmot (History, Politics and Government/Canterbury, and IMC), John Russell (PPE/Oxon) and Diane Lyons, responsible for Lacomp’s administration. Together the management team represent
a wealth of relevant experience.
