25 November 09 - FormFormForm Goes Public With Sugru
On Wednesday 2nd December FormFormForm will launch its incredible and exciting new consumer product, Sugru.
This new silicone material can be moulded by hand or with simple tools. It sticks to things, and cures at room temperature to a tough and durable yet soft-touch silicone that is waterproof, flexible, dishwasher proof, and temperature resistant from -50°C to +150°C.
It is the perfect product for improving, modifying – even for repairing – everyday items.
Successful “Hackwariums” in Spain and the UK at which people were encouraged to “hack” (or “imagine and create”) with Sugru, coming up with a myriad of uses for it, culminated in the Founder, Jane ni Dhulchaointigh, making an appearance at 100% Design London 2009 at Earl's Court this September.
